WITHDRAWALS AND REFUNDS

Students are expected to attend all classes.  When students are absent for reasons of illness, injury, or personal conflict, they are still responsible for missed work and should consult with the instructor before or after the next class meeting, if possible.

If students decide that they must withdrawal from a course, it is their responsibility to OFFICIALLY WITHDRAW from the course by contacting the office.  CMI and/or the instructor may also administratively withdraw students who have never attended class or attended so sporadically that they would not be able to complete the course requirements.

The date of a student’s OFFICIAL WITHDRAWAL determines both the grade and whether the student will receive a refund or not.  For six-week classes, withdrawal before the 2nd class meeting will result in a full refund.  Withdrawal before the 3rd class meeting will result in a 50% refund.  No refunds will be granted after the 3rd class meeting.

STUDENTS WHO MISS MORE THAN TWO CLASSES WILL NOT RECEIVE A CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION AND WILL NEED TO REPEAT THE COURSE AT THE FULL TUITION RATE.
