Professional Training CMI offers a Professional
Diploma program; various Professional Certification programs in Music
Management, Music Marketing, and Commercial Music Production; and individual
coursework for students interested in preparing for a new or first career,
improving present career skills, exploring courses to decide on a career, or
pursuing personal interests. Professional Diploma Program The Professional Diploma
Program offers a wide range of courses to provide students with the knowledge
they need to work in a variety of career avenues such as music management,
marketing, publicity, promotion, production, and event planning, or to promote
and protect their own careers as performers.
Courses include: The Business of Music* Legal Issues for Musicians Music Marketing Music Management Event Planning & Tours Publicity & Promotion Career Planning or Internship Music Finance & Taxation Intro. to Sound Recording Elective * This course is a
requirement for all CMI students.
Students must enroll in The Business of Music either before or
concurrently with other courses. |
COURSE SHCEDULE & FEES Courses are typically 6 weeks in length, meeting once per week for 3
hours. Students may also complete a course through a single Compressed Session
which meets every day for five days (one 4-hour day and four 3-hour days). |
TUITION (per course):
$299.00 Students may make payment by cash, check, money order, or
credit card (VISA or MASTERCARD). Students may also make payments over a period of time. Please request details on the CMI
